Our thanks to Mark for this. There should be mandatory prison sentences for people found guilty of making false accusations of sexual assault, and the minimum term should be counted in years, not weeks or months. In the meantime, as we proposed in our 2015 general election manifesto, those accused of sexual assaults should enjoy anonymity until and unless convicted of the offences.
False accusation of sexual assault on yourself or of you doing it on a minor. Is the same legally. A client of mine (as a Samaritan) was maliciously alleged of sexually abusing a minor by another. What are the consequences for the allege?

I’m sticking my neck out and putting it on the block here. I don’t believe that prisons are a viable solution to almost any kind of crime, they’re home to around 80% of all rapes, and they cost the taxpayer an absolute fortune. There are very few people who are so dangerous that they cannot be dealt with in a curative manner and those that are so dangerous they can’t be around other humans might well be best dropped off on a small, remote island. Pop Alison Saunders and friends on there as well and you have the makings of a fascinating reality TV show.
Keeping so many humans in human zoos with a tag of tens of thousands of pounds per annum per prisoner is just silly and really only sates the worst desires in our mouth-breathing, crime-obsessed public. Rather than hammer false accusers as we do the falsely accused (and that’s almost all of them in prison for supposed “sex crimes” today), I propose that we need to:
(a) put ever less men in prisons,
(b) restore the rule of law in our treasonous UK courts and hang judges who abrogate their duty,
(c) question rape claimants as the FBI does,
(d) afford impartiality and anonymity to both accused and accuser,
(e) have genuine criminals engage in restorative justice, including false accusers,
(f) disband the Crown Prosecution Service and the Sentencing Guidelines Council,
(g) fire Baroness Corston into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Yes…those who act against the morals of persons and maliciously lie…..should be made examples to the extent of custodial sentences.
Family Courts…oh dear the days of 17th Century Judge Jeffries and how many of them have graphic and violent porn on our state used computer files….lets find out….I cry sedition to these wrethches…and let the people judge them and start afresh!
