Priceless. Hmm, does this story tell us anything we didn’t already know about gender-typical work centredness? And did the world-renowned sociologist Dr Catherine Hakim possibly have something to say on the subject in 2000?
On the most recent International Women’s Day – March something-or-other – I had the pleasure of appearing on Sky News with two women, talking on the topic, ‘Can you be a successful working Mum?’ Kay Burley, the presenter, along with a feminist guest, were both examples of the one in seven women who are work-centred, both seemingly incapable (in common with almost all such women) of understanding that six in seven women are different. The video is here (18:25). Ms Burley appeared a little startled when I described her presenting her personal experience as ‘pathetic’, I don’t know why.
Justice for Men & Boys 
I’m sure Meghann would have also extolled the virtues of “meternity leave” for her male colleagues. Perhaps not, for who’d be producing the magazines?
Though I just bet those bad men would not take time off to “find” themselves and just get on with the job they’re paid to do. Maybe beavering away for longer hours so Meghann can contentedly examine her navel meditating at the Buddhist bookshop.
