American College of Pediatricians Say ‘Gender Ideology’ Is Child Abuse

Our thanks to K for this. While transgenderism exists – it’s established in the brain during pregnancy, along with sexuality, according to neuroscientists – it’s a rare condition, estimated to affect around one in 10,000 men and one in 30,000 women. There is something of a ‘fashion’ to be transgendered, which is unfortunate – especially given the suffering many transgendered people experience, leading many to commit suicide – and of course the feminist notion that gender is a social construct – ‘Gender Ideology’ – is absurd.

Alison Saunders’s response to our FOI request is 22 weeks overdue

Alison Saunders, Director of Public Prosecutions, won our Toxic Feminist of the Month award in February 2016. Her certificate is here.

Ms Saunders failed to respond by the required deadline to our FOI request in September 2015 asking for minutes of meetings she’s had since she took on her role in November 2013, with organizations advocating for victims of domestic and/or sexual abuse. Her response is now 22 weeks overdue.

Today we posted a new letter to Ms Saunders, along with a copy of the original letter. We’ll continue to publish a post each week on the delay, and email the Crown Prosecution Service each time, until we get a response.

Why are so many middle class wives beating up their husbands?

Our thanks to Mike for this. The focus on female-on-male domestic violence as a ‘very middle class problem’ is unfortunate. An extract:

Disturbingly, it seems domestic violence against men has become a very middle-class problem. As women work, earn – and in many cases drink – as much as their menfolk, the dominant force in many relationships is no longer male and some women are lashing out.

Mark Brooks of the Mankind Initiative provides some balance:

‘Domestic abuse is no respecter of class or status. It crosses all social boundaries: we get calls from solicitors, bankers and GPs, as well as builders, dustmen and bus drivers.’

For reasons that need not detain us, I sent a link to a video (3:59) by 5hadowfax to a treasured Honey Badger not long ago, and decided to watch it yet again, despite having watched it 10+ times before. To my mind it’s a masterpiece of the form, revealing a little more of its genius with each viewing.

In a fair world, the video creator would be sipping vintage champagne in the pool next to a sun-dappled villa on the French Riviera, where I happen to know he does not reside. But we don’t live in a fair world, unfortunately for him – but fortunately for us – so enjoy.
