Our thanks to Sean for this (video, 8:38). You’ll need to wade through some embarrassing footage of men wearing skirts in an utterly futile act of solidarity with women who’ve been sexually assaulted on the streets of European cities, but that footage is an appropriate backdrop to comments about the assaults by Iben Thranholm, an insightful female Danish journalist with comments on the real crisis of masculinity in Europe – not the whackadoodle version invented by feminists.
Exactly so
Isn’t this the same denmark where women are complaining that they can’t find good men to have children with, so they resort to a sperm donor clinic?
Obviously without the critical eye as to why they find themselves in that situation
Hi Guttorm. The speaker list is already lengthy for the time available, not able to add more speakers at this point.
Mike
Iben Thranholm for the Nobel Prize!
Have you invited her as a speaker in our Conference?

Basically the same message as Emma Watson’s he for she speech. Feminism has failed women and now they expect the menfolk to ‘step up’ and sort it out.
What’s the practicalities of Ms Thranholm’s vision of masculinity? Are we supposed to know about these attacks in advance, so we can arm ourselves and get together, or does she expect us to spontaneously step in, assuming other men will join us, when we spot the first grope? Can you imagine the possible interpretation by the police? Inciting racial hatred? Islamophobia? It would be akin to the man being arrested when the woman has committed domestic violence.
But then of course the women would stick up for us in court . . .?
There is nothing ‘short-sighted’ about my position. I am not obliged to risk death, injury or imprisonment for a woman I do not know, who is unlikely to care about my suffering and who may not even thank me for it, nor is any other man. I have never hesitated to put myself in danger to protect my daughter, which I have done, or to defend my wives, which I have also done. I simply have no intention of doing so for a woman in whom I have no interest, just because I do have a penis.
What happened to Lee Rigby was warning enough and a lot worse than being raped multiple times.
What a bizarre interview. Every time I see one of these types of discussions I cringe. That RT host was just having no part of a rational discussion even with another woman about where all of this was heading. It was as if she was willing to offer up her sisters to rape rather than compromise her feminist conditioning and give European men the tacit approval to deal with it. That was feminist indoctrination at it’s very worst. This RT host must have had the lie of toxic masculinity pounded into her through all her schooling to take a position like that in face of the recent mass attacks and rapes.
As much as I sympathize and to some extent agree with your “don’t give shit” position, I think that it is short sighted. Easy for me to criticize from here in Canada where the scale of the problem hasn’t shown itself, YET. But my bet is that what is happening to your women will soon be happening to men as well, if it hasn’t already started.
I can recall a discussion that I had with with a friend of mine in the mid 1980’s, who had just returned from Saudi. At the time I was contemplating a job there as well and we were discussing the pro’s and con’s. He told me about an horrendous incident that happened just before he came back to Canada. Two Canadians or Brits, I can’t recall, were stopped on an isolated road north of Riyadh and repeatedly raped by a group of locals for the sport of it. He also told me that while this was not common, it was part of the culture and not an isolated incident. So if you are thinking that this will only happen to women… Be prepared.
She’s right of course. After decades of mockery, contempt and proclamations of ‘toxic masculinity’ men have realised that a bicycle does not need a fish either. It’s a bit rich for women to demand that their menfolk step in and take a bullet for them now.
‘We have no masculine power in our society to fight … ‘
It is not a man’s responsibility to fight for or defend women. They demanded what they thought of as ‘equality’ and they got it. Now they can defend themselves. The days when men thought manliness meant suffering so that women don’t are gone.
That aside, what the women of Europe are experiencing at the hands of a few hostile aliens is as nothing compared to what men worldwide have suffered, in multiples of tens of millions, for millennia. Was it ‘Chanty Binx’ who said, apropos of male suffering and suicide, ‘cry me a river’? So a handful of women have been aggressively groped and partially stripped and frightened by some nasty brown men. Excuse me if I don’t give a shit.
