I sometimes wonder if normal women are not mortified by the relentless whining of feminists. In the UK and the US, feminists are wittering on about taxes on sanitary products – the ‘Tampon Tax’. No mention of the income tax gender gap – in 2012/13 men in the UK paid 72% of the income tax collected by the state, £69 BILLION more than women.
My thanks to John for this – Stella Creasy, a Labour MP, whining about taxes on sanitary products, claiming those taxes are sexist, as VAT on razors is zero. I can’t recall her being exposed as an idiot by the mainstream media, but we thank Full Fact for pointing out – here – that sanitary products are subject to a VAT rate of 5%, the minimum permitted by the EU, and razors 20%.

And of course razors are used by women. All those smooth legs and unde arms aren’t natural you know. As JB points out entertainingly in her blog .

Any man who has a wife, or had one, knows that women use razors as often as men.
