A cringe-inducing recent piece by Chris Moss, a male writer, in the laughably titled ‘Thinking Man’ section of the Telegraph. It wouldn’t be out of place in the New Statesman, Guardian or Independent. What depths this once fine newspaper has descended to.

After having read that article I now feel filthy inside and out. Is this man rolling onto his belly the better to show his feminist mistresses that he has been neutered? I just can’t see what this chap might have in the way of reasons to live – what keeps him breathing? What gets him out of his cot every day? Is it the thought of more Gollum-esque servitude? I really don’t understand the self-loathing. I’ve known housecats with more backbone and more self-esteem. Seriously, have I just been “triggered”?
