the pro-woman sentiments of the western world, reflected in the culture of the ‘ladies and gentlemen’ is the single most prominent reason why men and boys suffer such injustice in the entire western system these days. Ladies used to be women who took proper care of children,on a full time basis as mothers, who took care of the household and looked after the needs of the husbands/bread winners.
The same can not be said of present day ‘ladies’,as they increasingly do not occupy any of the above mentioned roles. As such, there is no reason to treat them in the special, more lenient way. But it continues to be practiced, despite the fact that today’s women behave almost in the same way men do and compete with men for livelihood, usually unmarried and often without children.
Therefore,to correct the practices of the days gone by,women must be treated in the same fashion as men,no exceptions. This is the most difficult part,as men are reluctant to acknowledge the complete changes in the social structure and continue to treat women as gently as if they still were the gentle housewives, girlfriends and mothers of their children. The biggest and most profound change must come from men’s attitudes to women and men’s recognition that today’s women do not deserve the gentlemanly treatment their grandmothers did. But this change in men’s attitudes is crutial to any change in the current anti-men/pro-women status quo.
