Because we moderate all the comments on our blogs – well, we don’t want feminists posting crazy stuff, so we? – I personally read all of them, and pass almost all. I wish there were more hours in the day to engage in exchanges with the commenters, but I want them to know their contributions are a constant source of information, encouragement, inspiration, and sometimes amusement.

Firmly in the final category is a comment posted not long ago by one of numerous highly valued commenters, Phil McCracken. I’ve just had the pleasure of passing a comment he submitted with respect to today’s The Big Questions programme, in which Natalie Collins interrupted other speakers shamelessly.
