Belfast City Council agreed in principle to play a video from Men’s Human Rights Northern Ireland as part of its commemorations of International Men’s Day. Once the officials saw the video – here – they refused to play it at their event. We recommend it thoroughly, and congratulate the gentleman behind it – ‘Forty Two’ – on a job well done.

I don’t know. Fancy thinking they could go mentioning men’s rights issues just because its international men’s day. And it features that well known trouble maker, Mike Buchanan, too. No wonder it was banned.

Great video, can’t see why it would have to be censored. Still, at least the council is recognising IMD, which is more than can be said about most local authorities, the national government, politicians and organisations such as the BBC.
