NHS to fund sperm bank for lesbians and single women. Taxpayers pay for a new generation of fatherless families.

A predictable development. Men pay 72% of the income tax collected in the UK, so they’re paying 72% of the cost of creating intentionally fatherless ‘families’. It’s an interesting but depressing article, be sure to read some of the insightful comments beneath it.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Will they also provide for surrogacy for men?

  • women have shown their true colors in the last 20 years. They’ve shown that false rape accussations are just fine…They’ve shown that denying fathers access to children and ripping them off at divorce they initiated is just fine….They’ve shown that the mostly female teachers are not above discriminating against boys at schools…They’ve shown contmept for genuine democracy, the free market and the capitalist system in general, the one that makes all this mayhem possible for them by taxpayers’ money…They’ve shown to demand same pay for lesser performance…
I could go on and on…
Why,after all this, would any British or western man still hold them in high regard, still accord them preferential/gentleman’s treatment?
It is time for men to rethink their appraisal of women and their function in the society,as the current situation shows it is high time indeed….

  • And of course the money spent on “customers” of this service is thus not available for patients who have actual illness. There really is a need for some more realistic priority setting for the NHS. At a time it struggles to meet the needs of the growing numbers of people with dementias for instance there should not be money going into services merely to fulfill their desires.
I am also disturbed that the need for a fatheris now not in the guidance I hope J4MB will include a change back to the previous position.

  • The world has just got crazier

  • I see no reason for single women to be able to get sperm donations. Men are never going to get the corresponding service. Children are not a right and are not pets or lifestyle accessories. We as taxpayers should not have to support this.

When the child reaches 18 they can legally find the father regardless of his wishes. There is the potential risk to men of becoming financially responsible for the child to a single woman if an unlicensed clinic performs the treatment at present. What’s to stop the state making men pay in the future for the results of NHS treatments if the feminists get even more control of government. The daddy state is always short of cash.

Gay male couples or even hetero couples are at a legal disadvantage compared to single women or lesbian couples. This is because surrogate mothers as still the legal mother of the child. Being the father, i.e. sperm owner, insultingly called the “second parent”, does not give you any rights unless you are on the birth certificate, and then you are the one that has financial responsibilities. If the surrogate’s partner does not object then he will be legally responsible for the child despite not being the biological father. The surrogate mother has no legal responsibility to hand over the child.

I can only see this leading to even fewer men becoming sperm donors which will only harm infertile married men and their partners.
