Now BBC bans the G-word: Sports reporter joked that he’d been beaten in judo bout by a 19-year-old GIRL… so ‘sexist’ word cut from broadcast

More ridiculous political correctness from the BBC. The girl herself didn’t find the remark sexist, but the ever-vigilant thought police at the BBC inevitably did, and decided to protect the public from a shocking word.

  1. every day brings another idiocy. So before they wanted to ban ‘bossy’,now ‘girl’…perhaps tomorrow ‘boy’,…Just about every word seems offensive to women…Clearly there are a lot of women unfit to govern.

  2. A good reason for stopping funding this quango through a tax on us all. . If one wanted to see “casual sexism” it’s clear in the Mankind vid. In that , both men and women want to help women. Men; well they are on their own.

  3. I don’t see a problem. Men and boys are erased from tragedy/heroics; a girl is erased from accomplishment. Problem? What problem? Congratulations, she just became a title; encourage more of this. ;p
