Mark Brooks talks about male victims of domestic violence on Channel 5 Live

Mark Brooks, chairman of Mankind Initiative, made a solid contribution to last Friday’s lengthy (48 minute long) – more importantly, interesting and compassionate – piece on a BBC Radio 5 Live piece about male victims of domestic violence. We invite you to leave comments on the piece on our YouTube channel (link below) rather than here – look for the file dated 9 May 2014. Below the video you’ll see a time breakdown of the various elements in the programme.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Could I encourage any readers to support MANKIND or any others of the small group of poorly funded groups for men caught up in these forms of abuse . One of the tragedies of this work is that many men themselves don’t value themselves enough to realise they don’t ” deserve” abusive
behaviour .Please at least visit Mankind,Esteem, Amis , Amen and others to support them.
