Beat yo-yo dieting for ever – by tapping on your face: It sounds too good to be true. But could this be the simplest weight-loss regime yet?

Assuming Jessica Ortner’s new book Tapping for Weight Loss becomes the bestseller it surely deserves to be, in a couple of years’ time there won’t be any fat women around:

The technique has evidently been successful for the blonde lady whose photograph appears in the piece. It’s time for me to contact major international publishers for the book I completed only this morning, Lifting Your Left Leg a Bit for Weight Loss. I anticipate a fierce competition for the publishing rights, and I’ll start the bidding at £1,000,000.

  1. I sometimes feel the Daily Fail exists just to annoy scientists and give comedians material. Ridiculous beyond words lol.

Perhaps I should put a reserve on my book ‘moving around and eating well, doing what every doctor tells you’, I doubt this would be a best seller however.

  2. it never ceases to amuse me that there are women out there stupid enough to fall for this ha ha. is quite telling men never get taken in by this rubbish that appeals solely to vanity

  3. One of the keys to weight loss is remembering that you are not supposed to stuff your face with food. Keeping a food diary is one of the biggest aids to dieting. The face-tapping nonsense probably works a similar way. Nothing to do with “acupressure”.
