Jeff nominates Carole Jones for our ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ award

Jeff is a longstanding supporter and donor to J4MB, and his input on a number of levels is hugely appreciated. He sends in leads to some wonderful stories, and this is one such. He’s nominated Carole Jones – a woman who’s never been mistaken for a ray of sunshine, I’m guessing wildly – for this month’s ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ award. When I first read this story, I assumed it must date from yesterday, April Fool’s Day, but no – it was published today.

After you’ve read the story, be sure to dip into the comments sections. There are some gems:

Carole Jones is in pole position for the award this month. I’ll hazard a guess she’s one of the 100,000+ followers of The Everyday Sexism Project, which would be appropriate, given Laura Bates won the inaugural ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ award. Feel free to email me your nominations for ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ or ‘Lying Woman of the Month’. So many to choose from in each category, I know, but try to pick just one.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
