My thanks to Swedish father’s rights activist Ulf Andersson http://dads-r-us.se for informing me of a report (2012) with an annotated bibliography of 286 investigations on Intimate Partner Violence (‘IPV’):
130508 male and female victims of Intimate Partner Violence
The report’s summary:
This bibliography examines 286 scholarly investigations: 221 empirical studies and 65 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners. The aggregate sample size in the reviewed studies exceeds 371,600.
Given the evidence about IPV, the lack of support for male victims of IPV is a scandal across the developed world, as is the seizure of virtually all public funding for IPV victims by militant feminist organisations including some well-known ‘charities’ (in the UK, for the past 40 years). There are 4,000+ places for abused women in shelters in the UK, and just 15 for heterosexual men (Source: Mankind Initiative http://mankind.org.uk). Mankind Initiative kindly supplied the 21 ‘key facts’ on IPV in our consultation document:
