Victoria Beckham and Beyonce nominate themselves for ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ awards

Our thanks to the supporters who’ve alerted us to this piece:

Sadly, self-nomination excludes women from contention for the ‘Whiny Woman of the Month’ award – rule 17(a).

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • This is the second time Beyonce has lost the plot recently. The first was her repeat of the pay gap myth despite women her age earning more on average then the men in most cities in the USA. Great that a person who’s career is based on free of speech and expression wants to shut down other people’s language and opinions, including other womens to boot if she only realised it!!

Not sure I understand the priorities here re: ‘of the month’ awards, but it seems to me this is another creeping incursion on free speech. Isn’t that what we should be worried about?
