Robert St Estephe is the driving force behind a remarkable website, ‘The Unknown History of Misandry: Setting the Record Straight’ http://unknownmisandry.blogspot.com. He’s uncovered a great deal of material demonstrating that what people have been led to believe about the relations between the genders over the course of history is a plausible but generally fictional narrative. He’s just tracked down a New York Times piece from 1921, in which Albert Einstein revealed the truth about the relationship between American men and women at the time:

92 years later, is the situation much different in the USA, UK, and most developed countries? If anything, it’s become worse for men. For decades many men have financed their ex-partners and children whilst being denied access to their children. The ‘enforcer’ of this monstrous reality – an emotional assault on children and their fathers – is the state, although British men collectively pay 72% of the income taxes that largely finance the state, and women just 28%:
You don’t have to be a genius to understand that at some point the state will have to stop assaulting men… or things will become very ugly.
