1. What a fantastic article. The only bit I don’t agree with is when it says women are sexually objectified to a greater extent. If you look at life carefully, you’ll see that men are sexually objectified even more than women. It’s just that it’s always been deemed acceptable to objectify men – men don’t complain – and so nobody notices. Even where pornography is concerned people from an early age are indoctrinated to believe that pornography is only damaging to the female variety. They are trained to completely overlook the fact that it’s potentially damaging to all. Most people blame men for pornography and think that only women are exploited. We need to shift the direction of thought towards the truth i.e. that women choose to be a part of pornography, women buy and watch pornography, and that men are just as much objectified as women. In addition, women get paid more for being a porn star than men. It’s funny how feminist culture has manipulated the level of acceptability in women’s favour such that men end up having to pay more than women to view the other gender’s body. Women seem to get it all for free.
