We repeat our public challenge to Caroline Criado-Perez

From time to time we take a little time out from more important work, to publicly challenge feminists to retract misleading statements they’ve made in public. Invariably they don’t respond – feminists are utterly shameless in driving misleading narratives – but we have the occasional pleasing result, such as when the businesswoman Heather McGregor, TV’s ‘Mrs Moneypenny’, a founder member of the odious but influential ‘30% club’, retracted a misleading statement she’d made to a House of Commons select committee (she and I were on the same ‘witness panel’):

A challenge we made to Kat Banyard about a misleading statement she’d made on television, concerning the statistics on sexual harassment of schoolgirls, remains unanswered to this day. The same is true of the challenge we made to Caroline Criado-Perez concerning a misleading statement she’d made on BBC Radio, about seven weeks ago:

We invite CC-P once again to correct her misleading statement. Or does she, too, have no shame?

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  • Hi,
I run femalefedupwithfeminism and think this work is great. I have retweeted the message that referred to this page – however anybody who is on the same smartphone network as me will be unable to click on the link because this site is blocked by the adult filter. There is nothing adult about this material. The feminists have set up conditions in which those who oppose them are silenced and then stand up and say the system is stacked against them and that is terrifying.

    • Nice to hear from you – I’ve amended ‘able’ to ‘unable’. Just put up a blog post about your AVfM-UK article and pointed people to your excellent blog.

Are you on the O2 network? This site – although it’s the site of a registered political party, J4MB – is blocked on the O2 network, along with many others. John Kimble is keeping a close watch on the situation.

  • Hi Mike,

Reading the way you have been treated on Twitter by people was quite horrible. I am suffering abuse from Caroline and her Twitter followers. My account is being maliciously banned, yet no rules broken. Anyone with a different view to hers, she instructs her followers to attack them. I suspect she has a way to suspend people, as I was unsuspended today for 10 minutes, within that time her followers started on me again, and without me sending a tweet, I was suspended, again. There is something not right with her womens group. Keep campaigning Mike, all the best.

Well, the least I can do is retweet this.
