Last night I had the pleasure of engaging in a discussion on Radio 5 Live with the feminist blogger Holly Combe (link below). Within an hour of my appearance yesterday on Jeremy Vine’s BBC Radio 2 show (6 – 7 million listeners) I was called by people working for three other radio shows. The first was for a late night programme on Radio 5 Live, the second (about 09:30 today) a regional BBC radio show, and the third a leading commercial radio station, lunchtime today. I’ll be putting all the pieces up on our YouTube site, but for the moment here’s the discussion with Holly from last night’s show, from around 52:05 – 1:00:00:
About Mike Buchanan
Mike Buchanan is an anti-feminist British men's rights activist (MRA). He led this political party since its launch in 2013 until May 2020, then handed over the leadership to Elizabeth Hobson and became the party chairman.
J4MB remains the only party in the English-speaking world campaigning for the human rights of men and boys on many fronts. Those rights are assaulted by states' actions and inactions in many areas, almost always to privilege women and girls. 20 such areas were explored in the party's 2015 general election manifesto.
Mike was a business executive for 30 years before taking early retirement in 2010. He's written 10 books and is also a publisher. His last three books have been concerned with gender and gender politics, the most recent being Feminism: the ugly truth (2016).
