Every now and again a thought comes out of (seemingly) nowhere for me, the consequence of reflections deep in my subconscious.

I was brewing my second afternoon coffee using my Moka pot – why anyone might make coffee any other way is an eternal mystery to me – when the thought occurred to me. I’ve been mulling over the thought whilst enjoing the coffee, and conclude my subsconscious has been mulling over the consequences of two long-observable phenomena in particular:

1. Western civilisation is becoming ever more feminised, ever less rational, ever more emotional. Feelings trump facts, every time. Politics – and so much else – is driven ever more by magical thinking. An example is the widely-held but demonstrably erroneous belief we have explored at Campaign for Merit in Business since 2012, that the profitability of private companies will be raised by increasing the gender diversity of those companies’ boards.
2. The classes of people who don’t oppose this direction of travel, indeed often drive it – notably the metropolitan elites, especially the women therein – will continue to hold women in general, and specific women in particular, unaccountable, regardless of the consequences.

The thought that occurred to me was this:

The decline of Western civilisation is underway. Its collapse is both inevitable and irreversible.

I’ve been on the road around Europe meeting with politicians to discuss the similar problems we are facing and how to fix them. This included delivering a speech to Members of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. A transcript of the speech is below.

Why is British politics experiencing a historic political ‘realignment’ that will, if the polls are correct, deliver a Reform-led government, headed by Nigel Farage?

To answer this question, let me first set out a few facts about what is currently underway in Britain.

By the year 2063, white Britons will be a minority in the country.

Among the under-40s, this will happen much earlier, potentially as early as the year 2050 —only twenty-five years away.

By the year 2079, the foreign-born –people who were born outside Britain— and their immediate descendants, will represent a majority in the entire country.

In England, already today, more than 40 per cent of all babies have at least one parent who was born outside the country, with the most common including India, Pakistani, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ghana, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

By 2100, by the end of this century, one in four British adults and roughly one in three young people, unless we change the direction of travel, will follow Islam.

Today, more than one million people in Britain do not speak English, while in more than 2,000 schools a majority of children do not speak English as their first language.

Muhammad, including variants of the name, has been the most popular boys name in Britain, since 2016.

And in many areas of the country, somewhere between 20 and 40 per cent of people from minority backgrounds openly reject an English, British, and UK identity.

All these things points to the answer to the question of why British politics is currently in a state of profound and historic change —a political realignment.

We have an immigration crisis, a demographic crisis, which nobody in Westminster is seriously responding to. And this crisis has two key elements…”

Great news. Three weeks ago we posted a blog piece about a film it was hoped to make about Male Domestic Abuse, to be filmed in Scotland – background here. At the time £14,560 had been donated towards the crowdfunder (target – £18,000). We made a donation, as did some supporters, the names of some of whom (and their messages of support) are here. I’m struck by how many donations (including some substantial ones) came from women. The donations recently passed the target, currently £19,040 – here.

That aside, the suggestion is that the man isn’t pursued by the state for child support, and begs the question, why not? Perhaps Sumira Amin agreed to support the children alone – well, with taxpayer’s money, anyway – if she gave him ownership of the house?]

Judge Paul Lawton said: “Looking at all of your references and your pre-sentence report, it is clear that, as the owner of a vagina, you are the sort of individual who is not the driving force or the planning mind behind this sort of benefit fraud. [J4MB: We may have added the italicised words there, but they’re implied. So, will the “planning mind”, presumably the father of the children, be located and prosecuted? Don’t hold your breath.]

“You were put in place and pushed on by somebody else to make these claims. It seems to me you are a woman who needs help at this stage in your life.”

Lord of the Flies (1954) is a classic of English literature. The start of the Wiki page on the book:

What a tempting book for ideologues to use as a vehicle for anti-masculinity narratives. From the BBC today, First look images for Jack Thorne’s adaptation of Lord of the Flies revealed. The start of the piece:

The BBC and Stan have revealed the first images from a forthcoming adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, adapted and directed for television by multi-BAFTA award winners, writer Jack Thorne (Adolescence, [J4MB emphasis] His Dark Materials, Help, Enola Holmes) and director Marc Munden (The Mark of Cain, National Treasure, Help). Produced by Eleven (Ten Pound Poms, Sex Education) for BBC iPlayer and BBC One, the series is a co-production with Stan, who will air the drama in Australia. Following the execrable representation of “human nature” – in plain English, masculinity – in Adolescence, we know exactly what to expect in the new series – more of the relentless narrative that males are monsters.
