Young male voters are flocking to Trump
I had a long Zoom video chat last night with MRAs including some from the US. The American MRAs seemed confident of a Trump victory at the coming election. I hope they’re proven right. One of the things they pointed to was young male voters flocking to Trump, possibly the beginning of a long-awaited rise in male political consciousness? We can but hope.
In the meantime, we can enjoy the predictable hand-wringing in the leftie media. From the Guardian, Young male voters are flocking to Trump, and from the New York Times, What’s the matter with young male voters?

Japan’s most staunch antifeminists? The women standing to be MPs.
An interesting piece in yesterday’s Times (£). The paper reports that Mio Sugita, 57, who represents the Kinki proportional representation block, is vocal about the number of nurseries for working mothers being undesirable because women should bring up their own children, support centres for rape victims are a bad thing because “women lie as much as they want”, and the idea of equality between men and women is “nonsense”. All demonstrable facts, we wish British politicians were as honest and had as much backbone.

Robert Roberson may die for a crime that may not exist, the same crime for which a woman had her conviction overturned.
A piece in yesterday’s Times (£). An American woman, Suzanne Johnson, spent more than two decades in prison for the death of a child by “shaken baby syndrome” before scientific advances disproved the diagnosis. Four years later, her conviction was overturned.
Texas death row inmate Robert Roberson, 57, is scheduled to be the first person in the United States to be executed for SBS after the death of his chronically ill two-year-old daughter Nikki in 2002. He was two hours away from receiving a lethal injection last Thursday when a judge called off preparations. An interesting piece on Roberson’s case published in August by the Innocence Project is here.
