First female chancellor Rachel Reeves reveals she is stuck with a urinal in her office toilet

Enjoy. A “problem” created by allowing a woman to hold the position of chancellor, but hopefully not for long. The economy has been tanking under her watch, what are the chances? From her Wikipedia page:

“In October 2023, Reeves’ book The Women Who Made Modern Economics was published. The Guardian said the book contained “something much more like the outlines of a coherent political project … than Labour is sometimes credited with”. The Financial Times reported that the book “lifted” content from Wikipedia, The Guardian and other sources, identifying over twenty examples of apparent plagiarism [J4MB translation – plagiarism] in the book, including entire paragraphs. Reeves told BBC News that some sentences “were not properly referenced” and this would be corrected in future reprints.”

Schrödinger’s Feminism

Our thanks to Sean for this:

“Schrödinger’s Feminism: A woman is simultaneously a victim and empowered, until something happens. Then she chooses which state benefits her the most.”

Originally from @TurtleChad1, I believe.

Stalker Sarah Scott, 41, who threatened boyfriend and his ex, jailed

Our thanks to Ken for this. The start of the piece:

“A convicted stalker who repeatedly threatened to kill her ex-boyfriend’s former partner has been jailed.

Sarah Scott, 41, said she was “dreaming of snapping” the woman’s neck and that a “15-year sentence” would be “worth it for her not be on this earth”, Leeds Crown Court heard.

Scott, of Corbett Drive in Wakefield, also threatened to make a false rape allegation against her ex, to whom she pleaded guilty to harassing earlier this year.

The woman subjected to the threats, who had never previously met or spoken to Scott, told the BBC she had been through “eight months of hell”.

At a sentencing hearing on Friday, it was said that Scott had a history of similar offences against other ex-partners.”

The woman was jailed for only 30 weeks.

Why you should subscribe to Tom Golden’s “Men Are Good” Substack channel

In 2014 I was honoured to be a speaker at the first International Conference on Men’s Issues, hosted by Paul Elam for A Voice for Men, near Detroit. Tom Golden (a psychotherapist already well known in the MRM) was also a speaker, videos of all the talks are on this playlist.

I’ve always been impressed with Tom’s work, but after reading his excellent piece on the Duke lacrosse team false rape allegation today, decided to consider subscribing to his Substack channel. And so it was that I learned (very belatedly!) that his output has been more substantial than I’d appreciated – archive here, seven pieces in the past fortnight alone, 13 in November. I’ve subscribed, and I invite you to join me in becoming a subscriber ($8.00pcm).

Crystal Mangum has admitted to her false accusation against the Duke Lacrosse players.

Our thanks to Gerry for this (video, 11:17). Tom Golden’s excellent Substack article on the matter is here and starts:

“Yes, Crystal Mangum has admitted to her false accusation against the Duke Lacrosse players. Nearly 20 years after the infamous incident, she now acknowledges that she lied and is asking for forgiveness from the three players she falsely accused. Mangum is currently serving a prison sentence after being convicted of murdering her boyfriend. You can’t make this up—the woman once universally believed to be telling the truth is now revealed as both a liar and a convicted murderer.”
