Man jailed for 20 months for shouting at police dog and using racist slurs. Beauty student, 19, who joined rioters outside migrant hotel dressed in yellow cocktail dress is branded ‘extremely stupid’ by judge as she’s spared jail.

Our thanks to Nigel for pointing us to yet another example of gender-related “two-tier justice”. The BBC piece on the man is here, the Manchester Evening News piece on the woman here.

The psychology that drives a woman to cut off a man’s penis and why cases can spread across whole countries like ‘contagion’

Our thanks to Gerry for this (Mail, £), inevitably written by a woman. Gerry writes:

Mechazilla has caught the SpaceX Starship’s Super Heavy booster for the first time ever. Women barred from the related SpaceX engineering teams to ensure a successful outcome.

Enjoy (video, 59 seconds). The BBC’s piece is here, Elon Musk’s Starship booster captured in world first. Predictably, the BBC has not reported the fact that SpaceX took a leaf out of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission – the first manned landing on the moon, in 1969 – for this project, barring women from the related engineering teams. As Elon told me some months ago in one of our regular Zoom calls, by way of explanation, “Hell, Mike, it’s only common sense. The first time we allowed female engineers to design a bridge over a highway, the damned thing fell down!!!”
