Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).

“Good chance some of these accusations were false. I have read and heard anecdotally over the years a number of men claiming they were falsely accused of sexual offences (mainly rape) killing themselves.
Ashamedly there was a time I thought there was no such thing as a false rape accusation and maybe even worse than that, I assumed if someone accused of such a crime committed suicide it just meant they likely were guilty.
After learning more about male suicides, male neglect, LAWFARE against men in modern society, prevalence of false rape accusations and having experience of mental health in the family, thankfully (but sadly) I am more in the picture now.
Under legislation each coroner has the power to make recommendations they think could prevent similar deaths in future (prevention of future harm recommendation) I think it is likely an underused power they have.
Also this is the first time I think I have seen it mentioned in an article which is alluding to false rape accusations, which I think this article is doing without explicitly saying so.
I am in Cumbria myself , I was falsely accused of rape myself many years ago. I will contact this Cumbrian coroner myself about my own experience in the matter.”

“At the time of his death, Crossley was on bail for an alleged [J4MB emphasis] assault against McIlwaine and subject to a restraining order prohibiting any contact with her.
Despite a period of separation, they had re-established their relationship by the night of the killing…
She described taking a knife from the kitchen, returning to the bedroom and moving the child [J4MB: the child of McIlwaine and her partner] before repeatedly stabbing her sleeping partner.
Prosecutors argued that she made rational choices which demonstrated being in control of her actions.
In October 2024, a jury rejected McIlwaine’s case and unanimously found her guilty of murder…
Two consultant forensic psychiatrists had also concluded that a properly directed jury could find McIlwaine met the criteria necessary to establish loss of self-control.”
What’s the betting the psychiatrists were feminists?
