‘Housebound’ benefit cheat Catherine Wieland, 33, caught ziplining in Mexico

Interesting. An extract:

“While claiming her health was so poor she could not cook or wash herself, Wieland made 76 beauty appointments, visited 60 pubs, clubs and restaurants and spent money in foreign currencies.

After her luxury trip to Mexico, Wieland submitted a review claiming her condition had got worse.

She pleaded guilty to failing to notify a change of circumstances and must now repay the £23,662 stolen from taxpayers between 2021 and 2024.

She was sentenced on Thursday to 28 weeks in custody, suspended for 18 months, the DWP said.”

So, no punishment, then. No deterrent for other women to do likewise.

Alexander Grace interview with Stephen Baskerville and Bradley (NYC)

We’re big admirers of the output of the Australian vlogger Alexander Grace. His YouTube channel is here, the list of his videos we’ve linked to here.

We were pleased to learn that Stephen Baskerville and Bradley (NYC) recently interiewed Grace, Men Today Episode #5 – Masculinity in the Modern West (video, 1:40:41). I’m usually reluctant to recommend such lengthy videos but having watched it in full, I can make an exception in this case. Grace talks insightfully about numerous issues including the female fear of abandonment, and its deep roots in evolutionary psychology.

Aurin Makepeace, 43, stabbed ex in the chest then left him for dead

Our thanks to Nigel for this. An extract:

“Detective Inspector Simon Mills said: “Makepeace claimed that she had tried to prevent Steven leaving the address with the knife and while grappling with him the knife accidentally entered his chest. However Makepeace couldn’t then explain why she went back to North Wales on the train and waited some hours before calling police and lying about her identity.”

Nigel writes:

“Yet another “classic” in the sense that yet again a man is stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife, woman leaves him to die, tries to blame others and then plays the “self defence” card when no one is buying her other lies.”
