Utter bilge in The Spectator (£). I’ve left some comments but would like to share comments from others:

This woman should stick to writing about things which don’t require any understanding of economics, politics or law or, actually, anything grown up.
Why do we now have this far left grifter writing twaddle?

This is unreadable. It is incoherent. It is a jumbled mess of deconstructing metaphors and personal anecdotes. Lastly, it is dull. And boring. Why am I paying a subscription for this? How did this get past the editor’s desk? Or maybe it was even worse and this is infinitely better after countless re-writes. Dreadful.
If I may summarise: if your politics are to the right of Laurie’s you are a pervert. Laurie is understanding of this but all they ask is you keep your fetishes private (which seems reasonable).
Rambling, interminable dross.
“I’ve always considered sadism the distinguishing factor: if you’re actually enjoying hurting another person, your motives are suspect and you should probably stop.” And yet you ploughed on for another nine torturous paragraphs.
Who is this child and why is he/she writing in the Spectator?
I waded as far as: ‘I don’t want to yuck anyone’s yum’. What utter bilge. And the writer of this execrable twaddle is proof alone that woke is far from over.
Why would the editor of the Spectator sanction this waste of space? Is he intent on destroying what’s left of the magazine’s reputation? I could only stomach fragments of her garbage – but she sounds disturbed and using it as clickbait is cheap. The only consolation about woke is that the intensity increases in a desperate attempt to survive as Trump cuts off the funds. Mr Gove , I am sure you have a sophisticated explanation for this dross but you are badly mistaken.
