Interesting, although the article employs the feminist term (and myth) “gender-based violence”.
The false rape allegation was made by the man’s ex-wife. It’s an opportune time to point again to Janet Bloomfield’s 2014 piece for A Voice for Men, 13 reasons women lie about being raped. It’s not a full list of the reasons.

An interesting piece in yesterday’s Telegraph (£). The paper is campaigning for ‘targeted screening’, more below. An extract:
“The report – to be released in the Commons on Tuesday – shows that screening all men aged 50 to 69 would be significantly cheaper than the current breast screening programme.
The research shows that first targeting checks at the groups most at risk – those who are black, have a family history of the disease or genes linked to it, and are aged between 45 and 69 – would cost 0.01 per cent of the NHS budget.” [J4MB: Note that women are eligible for breast cancer screening between the agres of 50 and 71. Other than age, there is no ‘targeting’ for breast cancer testing on the grounds of race.]
In addition to those with a history of prostate cancer or genes linked to prostate cancer, all black men will be tested, and no white men. Those black men’s lives will be deemed by the state to be worth £18, the white men’s lives will be deemed to be worth nothing. There are 20x more white men than black men in the UK.
The findings suggest around £20,000 would be spent for every year of life saved – well within the thresholds typically considered cost-effective for the NHS.”

Today’s file is here (7:17).
Over a period of more than two years we’re posting links to one video daily from the J4MB YouTube channel. The channel includes our media appearances since 2012, 300+ videos of talks and other materials from the International Conferences on Men’s Issues (2014 – ) and other men’s issues conferences we’ve been involved with, and so much more. The individual conference playlists are here.
Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).
Finally, we run the award-winning website Laughing at Feminists. The comedy channel (170+ videos) is here. Remember, it’s more than important to laugh at feminists, it’s a civic duty.

Our thanks to Tom for this (video, 0:55). Please don’t open the file in front of children, or if you’re easily offended by ranting Irishmen. Thank you.
