MPs demand timetable for cohabitation reform

A piece in The Law Society Gazette. Cohabitation reform will be a gravy train for lawyers, as divorce has long been, as women leave their cohabiting partners with a view to fleecing them financially (the women having often contributed little or nothing towards the couple’s combined assets). We’ve been warning for some time that this government will introduce cohabitation reform, one of a number of concessions made to radical feminists. An extract:

“A cross-party group of MPs has applied gentle pressure on the government to confirm the timetable for cohabitation reform following a 2024 manifesto pledge to strengthen the rights and protections of women [J4MB emphasis] in cohabiting relationships.”

Google joins firms dropping diversity recruitment goals

Our thanks to Steve for this good news. We look forward to the parasites in the DEI industry doing something more useful with their lives e.g. collecting garbage bins, or flipping burgers.

ANNOUNCEMENT: International Conferences on Men’s Issues (ICMIs)

The first ICMI was hosted in 2014 near Detroit. It was organised and hosted by Paul Elam of A Voice for Men (AVfM). A few years ago he passed ownership of AVfM to Robert Brockway, an Australian MRA. The event was very successful, and so the series of ICMIs was born. Later successful events were held in London (2), Gold Coast (Australia), Chicago, Pune (India) and online.

There are more than 300 videos of the speeches and related materials in playlists on the Justice for Men & Boys YouTube channel, Paul Elam’s playlists and AVfM playlists.

There has never been a conference series to compare with ICMIs. They have raised the consciousness and understanding of countless men and women globally with respect to men’s and boys’ issues since 2014. Three of the organisers – Paul Elam, Rob Brockway and myself – recently decided to retire from organising future ICMIs. We should like to warmly thank all the people who made the ICMI series such a success over the years. The ICMIs planned for this year (Australia) and next year (United States) will not take place unless new organisers are found.

ICMI is too important and well-known a brand to simply cease to exist, or be exploited by those without the wellbeing of men and boys as their prime concern. And so it is that we’re very pleased to announce that with immediate effect, the highly-regarded MRA Anil Kumar – founder and leader of Save Indian Family Foundation – becomes the sole custodian of the ICMI brand. He brings many strengths and qualities to the role, and we wish him every success.

It follows that Anil alone can authorise people to organise and host future ICMIs. Anyone with a potential interest in organising future ICMIs, or contributing to them in any way, should contact Anil, his details:

Kay Burley retires from Sky News after 36 years

Our thanks to Jeff for this good news. I was only interviewed by Burley once, while I was stood in a public park in Bedford, my home town, without a view of either her or the other interviewee, Jenny Garrett, a feminist. I did my best under difficult circumstances – Mike Buchanan and a feminist interviewed on Sky News on International Women’s Day (video, 14:49). I was pleased with the comments stream (127 comments), many of which were critical of Burley.

Man, 42, appears in court over death of partner who took her own life after ‘controlling and coercive’ relationship

Our thanks to Gerry for this (Mail, £). He writes:

“Does the obvious question even need asking? What about all those poor men who were driven to suicide by their controlling and abusive wives?”

In the same vein, what about all those poor men who commit suicide as a result of denial of access to their beloved children following false allegations made by their controlling and abusive ex-partners in family courts (often in order to obtain Legal Aid, denied to those same men.)

We don’t know from the article what the substance of the allegations is, but how can they be anything other than statements she made to others before her suicide? And how can the defence lawyer challenge the trustworthiness of a dead woman (and the trustworthiness of those to whom she allegedly commmunicated), in order to properly defend the man? It will be a kangaroo court.

The controlling and coercive behaviour is alleged to have taken place between December 2015 and November 2017, when the man’s partner committed suicide. An extract from the article:

“The controlling and coercive behaviour is alleged to have taken place between December 2015 and the date of Ms Baird’s death. The company director is also accused of raping Ms Baird between October and November 2016.”
