Matt Goodwin: “Connecting the dots (five things that happened this week that tell us A LOT about the decline of our country and the troubling future that lies ahead).”

Interesting.

Unherd remove Mike Buchanan’s comments AGAIN

I’ve written on a number of occasions about Unherd censoring comments critical of feminism and feminists. Yesterday I posted a link to their piece they published the previous day, “Netflix is degrading our politics. ‘Adolescence’ isn’t a documentary” with the words, “An interesting piece by Darran Anderson for Unherd.”

I posted what I thought were quite innocuous comments (below) but Unherd has removed them. Their removal of my comments has become quite gratuitous. I posted further comments pointing to the censorship, see the second page.

The UK Government Just Declared War on Gab

Gab is an American free speech platform run by a Christian man, Andrew Torba. The platform is, predictably, vilified by Wiki, here. They recently received a threatening communication from Ofcom and have responded firmly and commendably, as we knew they would, here. They have responded in a similar way to communications from the governments of Germany and other countries.

The ‘sinister emojis’ used by incel teenagers

A piece in yesterday’s Telegraph (£). I was contacted yesterday by the journalist, Tim Sigsworth, who asked me for comments on the issue. I sent him a lengthy response and he drew the following for his piece:

Mike Buchanan, founder of Justice for Men & Boys, said crimes by boys and young men were not being caused by emojis.

“This is a moral panic,” he said. “There is a boy crisis but of course – due to gynocentrism – the mainstream media’s focus is on the impact on girls. Adolescence is a scandalous anti-male propaganda piece.”

End of extract. The Daily Mail picked up on my comments, in this piece (£):

“However, Mike Buchanan, of Justice for Men & Boys, labelled it as ‘moral panic’ and argued that crimes by boys and young men ‘are not being caused by emojis’, accusing the media of ‘gynocentrism’ in focusing solely on the dangers posed to girls.”
