Sean Bw Parker’s new book, “SOCIETY: Portraits”

Sean Bw Parker is an artist, writer and musician specialising in cultural theory and justice reform. He was a victim of the anti-male criminal injustice system, and has long worked hard for victims of false allegations. His new book SOCIETY: Portraits is available from Amazon in three editions, hardback (£15.90), paperback (£10.60) and Kindle (£3.49).

This is Sean’s tenth book – his Amazon author page is here – and we wish him ever success with it.

Laura Bates’s new book: “The New Age of Sexism: How the AI Revolution is Reinventing Misogyny.”

Laura Bloody-Bates was the founder of The Everyday Sexism Project in 2012, we’ve always referred to it as The Everyday Whining Project. Our awards to her include two Lying Feminist of the Month awards presented over a period of just three months in 2014, here.

Bloody-Bates’s website appeals to the sort of wilting hothouse flowers (like herself) who see sexism and misogyny everywhere and anti-male sexism and misandry nowhere – clearly a projection of their own misandy, which she has denied, as would they, one assumes.

I only met the harpy once, when we were both interviewed “live” soon after I’d launched J4MB. The interviewer was Jeremy Vine for his Radio 2 show, which at the time attracted over seven million listeners. The file (audio, 18:25) is here.

Because of the layout of the studio, Jeremy Vine couldn’t see what was on the desks in front of us. At one point Bloody-Bates was reading out some statistics from notes in front of her (I could see she was) in that wooden voice of hers, when Jeremy Vine interrupted with, “Laura, are you reading from notes?” She denied it, and I’m sorry to this day that I didn’t reveal the truth. I don’t know why I didn’t, maybe misplaced chivalry? It wouldn’t happen today. She has never accepted another invitation to be interviewed with me (or any other MRA, to the ebst of my knowledge). She is, of course, a regular on BBC TV and radio.

At the end of the interview she stood up accused me of sending abusive emails – I hadn’t, only emails to raise her knowledge of some issues. I was patiently relating the truth, whereupon she stamped a foot like a threee-year-old toddler and stormed out of the studio. Vine could only mouth in bewilderment, “Wow!”.

To my mind Bloody-Bates is a child trrapped in anwoman’s body, and could do with some psychiatric help, but of course she’ll never seek it. Easier, by far, to blame men for her angst.

Bloody-Bates libelled a number of MRAs (including myself) in her book Men Who Hate Women. She also lied about attending one of the London mini-conferences. Sadly taking out a libel case is extortionately expensive (her publisher is American) so we had no choice but to let the matter drop. But we made a couple of videos in response to the libel, Elizabeth Hobson created A Challenge to Laura Bates (5:34) while I created Mike Buchanan’s Challenge of Laura Bates (32:19).

‘We’ll burn Jews like Hitler did’, says BBC contributor Samer Elzaenen in Gaza

Appalling (Telegraph, £). Elzaenen has appeared on BBC Arabic more than a dozen times since the conflict erupted and even reported live last month. The article also cites other anti-Jewish “journalists” used by the BBC.

Common words on job adverts that women think are intimidating and too masculine

Our thanks to Jeff for this (Mail, £). The article is written by two female “journalists” and cites “studies” by female “researchers”. Stereotypically masculine words and terms which allegedly intimidate women and disincline them from replying to job adverts include ambition, drive, entrepreneurial spirit, adventurousness, assertiveness, outspokenness and self-reliance. I think the lesson to be taken from this is clear. Employers should include as many of these terms as possible in job adverts.
