Tribute to Marc Angelucci, from Cassie Jaye

Cassie Jaye has published a very moving tribute to Marc Angelucci, on Facebook.

She writes:

I’m at a loss for the right words, but I’ll do my best.

One of my dearest friends and the most brilliant and good-hearted person to dedicate his life to justice for men and boys, Marc Angelucci, was murdered yesterday in front of his home in California.

News reports say: “52-year-old Marc Angelucci was found non-responsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A motive for the shooting is unknown.”

I first met Marc in 2013. He was one of the first people I interviewed for The Red Pill. He had an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, a law degree from UCLA Law and when he saw one of his closest friends being physically abused by his wife and then denied access to resources because he was a man, Marc began investigating. He never initially planned on being a “men’s right attorney” (as I labeled him in my film), but his big heart wouldn’t let him turn his back on good, innocent people needing legal counsel. The more he worked on these cases, the more he learned how unjust the system was. In his 20 years of practicing law, he became one of the most sought after and effective attorneys to fight on behalf of men (and women) in cases where gender discrimination was apparent, such as cases involving: child custody, divorce, paternity laws, domestic violence services, criminal sentencing, military conscription, public benefits, false accusations and education. What really shows his big heart is that most of the work he did was pro bono. He couldn’t not help people who were so clearly being taken advantage of and abused by the system, so he volunteered his time and work for their right to justice.

The last time Marc and I spoke was on July 1st, just 10 days before his death. The last time I saw him was on my wedding day (he was only 1 of 2 people I invited to my wedding who were in The Red Pill).

When we met 7 years ago, I never thought he would become such a big part of my life and my heart, but he really became like family to me. Although I’ve met so many wonderful people through making The Red Pill, there’s not very many I see eye-to-eye with 100% of the time, but I could always stand behind Marc 100% of the time. The more I got to know him, the more I realized he was truly an angel on Earth who only had goodness in his heart, was always honorable in the work he did, and he was really the one person that could truly enact legal change on state and federal levels on behalf of men and boys. He won so many cases that few would be willing to touch and fewer would be willing to do pro bono, but he did it because it was the right thing to do.

I honestly don’t know anyone else like him and that scares me. Who will carry on his legacy? His death is tragic, it wasn’t his time, he was in the prime of his life. He’s been working on so many important legal cases lately and I’m sure he had even bigger work on the horizon. I don’t know who could do this to him – and to us, because we have lost a real life hero.

I love you, Marc. I miss you. We will not forget you. Rest in peace, dear friend.“

Fundraiser to help Stefan secure access to his son

Stefan is a loving and devoted father, known to J4MB and many of our supporters. He stands a good chance of securing access to his son in a family court – especially with the assistance of legal professionals to help him to present his evidence. Please consider donating to help him pay for their services.

Stefan says:

I just want to thank everyone who has shared and donated. I was hurt not seeing my Son due to the lies and false allegations my wife made despite no evidence on her part and the many clear evidence I have which was overlooked. But now there is proof my innocent Son has been “coached” by a third party, I am more hurt and desperate to see him again and free him of that. He told a Social Worker he wanted to see me, Cafcass ignored that and stated he’s clearly changed his mind. I am appealing the final decision as I have clear grounds to. The copy of my police interview and the transcript of the Fact Finding hearing will expose lies and many mistakes made by my Wife and by the Judge. Thank you so much.”

Introducing a new J4MB blog contributor: Natty Kadifa

Our Wonder Natt, photograph courtesy of Anthony J Corniche III

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Natty Kadifa has joined the J4MB team officially, as a contributor to the blog.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with her for a number of years, on the Ladies for Philip Davies campaign, on the Messages for Men series of conferences and on Honey Badger Radio. She is a great friend to me and to men, and her involvement will be hugely valuable to the party. We look forward to reading her thoughts here in the near future!

Watch her discussing feminism at Speakers Corner last year, here (video: 1:13:38).

Feminism: A great wave that threatens romantic relationships

A notably interesting and nuanced piece of writing from Judah Ben-Hur, a Kenyan journalist, has come to my attention – published in The Standard, yesterday. The piece explores a long-view of the evolution of relations between the sexes and ultimately advocates for the growth of a Farrellian equality wherein “Men who had socially evolved to be in charge will now have to get used not being in charge while women who were used to be taken care of and protected by men, might need to stand up for themselves.”

You can follow Judah Ben-Hur on Twitter, here.

How campus feminists coerce young girls into the Sisterhood

Neat video (5:02) from Galileo’s Telescope explaining what Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ can tell us about the campus feminist indoctrination machine.

“Upward-thrusting buildings ejaculating into the sky”

New classic Guardian article by Leslie Kern (author of the new book ‘Feminist City’) proves yet again that feminism ruins everything, including geography.

She’d have “happily written a grad school essay about this then turned my attention to more pressing matters”, had “the sexism of the city ended with architectural symbolism” – but, apparently, women city-dwellers specifically have to worry about their safety when jogging at night… I hate to agree with Germaine Greer but she was right when writing in ‘On Rape’ that “It is a nonsense for our daughters to be more frightened of penises than our sons are of guns or knives.” In 2019/20 there were approximately 7.89 thousand rape offences recorded by the Metropolitan Police in London. In 2019/20 the number of knife crime offences recorded in London reached almost 15.6 thousand. Neither rape, nor knife crime are entirely gender-specific crimes, of course – though I suspect that concerns over personal vulnerability to such crimes probably are more gender-specific… But the city is not a space where anyone can waltz along carefree assuming they cannot be victimised because they were lucky enough to be born a certain sex and the propagation of the myth that men can and do can only breed resentment.

For the record, this Wikipedia page ‘List of tallest buildings designed by women’ is a handy reference for women-architects who clearly suffer internalised misogyny. J4MB salutes them!

Would you rather not hear about our Father’s Day offers?

This evening Tesco, The Telegraph and Moonpig have all thoughtfully emailed subscribers to their mailing lists, giving them the opportunity to opt-out of further emails that make reference to Father’s Day – because they understand it can be a sensitive time for people. I imagine that similarly, Mother’s Day may be sensitive for some… Perhaps Easter or Ramadan, or perhaps it’s specific products that people are sensitive about – alcohol or something? But only fathers seem so easy to airbrush straight out of the picture.

Thanks to Mike, Tom and Andrew for alerting us!

Rape is Not (Only) About Power; It’s (Also) About Sex

Our thanks to Tim for sharing this article with us.
