Scandalous. Churchill’s statue has been vandalised many times, it’s surely overdue for the Met to station an adequate number of police officers sufficiently near the statue 24/7/365 to stop it happening again. The statue is in Parliament Square, in an area (next to the Houses of Paliament) swarming with police officers already.
