  2. This really was a case of “victim blaming”. The man was attacked and injured by a knife wielding assailant! Rather like the ban on Israeli fans because Islamists in this country had threatened to attack them! With the now “retired” Police Chief claiming it was the fans who were the threat. Full marks to the Dutch police pointing out he lied about their experience, which was that Dutch Islamists had attacked fans in Holland, not vice versa. Both cases illustrate the ease with which our institutions can be bullied by threatening minorities. Into turning the truth on its head! In a rare ,”feminist moment” I’m thinking of that female PC who sets out the law clearly and firmly to a crowd of hostile men.
