Jess Phillips LOSES HER TEMPER after ‘INSULTING’ grooming victims

Our thanks to Nigel for this (video, 2:13). He writes:

“Jess wriggling and losing it as she and the Government continue to avoid begining the Inquiry into the “Grooming Gang” scandal. Toxic to Labour because they were the power in charge in almost every place this happened. Toxic because MPs like Jess because they are close to losing their seats to “independent” Muslim candidates and toxic to their feminists because they hounded female MPs who raised it, colluded in covering it up in those Councils and now delay and obfuscate about the inquiry. Jess the self-proclaimed women’s champion caught covering up and refusing to see a scandal affecting as many as 20,000 females for two decades. Because of political expediency. No wonder she loses it.”

  1. Forgive me if I’ve got this wrong

But I was under the impression that the level of abuse is far greater than 20k victims?

I thought we were looking at several decades and about at least a quarter of a million children?

the majority are girls but yes apparently there were boys as well.

,, and yes this is a shocking scandal of govts( all parties, but predominately labour) central and local

for me its the sheer hypocrisy of this feminist who like so many politicians cant stand by the principles and conduct that we expect of public office, but who can’t stand by her supposed principle of women’s equality and has sacrificed the very people she claims to be championing for.

I also thought I recently read that 364 member of parliament voted against a national inquiry?

All that will do is give the public the impression that the ballot box no longers works and that the only course of action will be physical.. this may be the start of the civil war that is predicated( although personally I think it already began a few years quietly against men).

Imagine that your legacy will be the sacrifice of large numbers of the very people you claim to be championing and protecting.

She will be up there with Tony Blair.

    • You may well be right about the overall numbers, the one I quote is the official estimate based on the known cases. Of course as yet the Police and Crime Commissioner of GT. London a certain Mayor Khan has hidden the extent of this in the 32 London Boroughs. Though cracks are appearing in this cover up. Given the huge population and ethnic diversity of London’s 32 Boroughs it seems likely that this figure will rise, when and if an Inquiry opens the lid on London. Whatever the numbers the most shocking thing for me is that at least half of the known victims (10,000 taking official figures) were children in Council Care or on a “Safeguarding” List as at risk and subject to monitoring by Children’s Services (what used to be called the Child Protection Register). In my city county, GT Manchester, there are 10 Boroughs and 6 have at least one gang finally prosecuted with Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester and Bolton having a number each. GT Manchester is the second most “diverse” City region after London and so its reasonable to assume London has a similar incidence, say 18 to 20 Boroughs with such gangs.

Of course while this was going on (and it still is fresh cases keep coming up here) the feminists were busy trumpeting “rape culture” in Universities and persuading the Police and CPS to prosecute young men and achieve the required % of “convictions” by concealing evidence from mobile/smart phones and social media. This revealed in 2018 leading to a 25% reduction in prosecutions in subsequent years and the CPS CEO Alison Saunders leaving her job under a cloud. Busily trying to persuade everyone “unwanted compliments” “querying the gender pay gap” “staring” and “looking creepy” were proof of “Rape Culture” these same feminists attacked the few female MPs who tried to raise the alarm about an actual problem. For of course their “target” is not sexual abusers nor any concern for victims but the agenda of claiming to counter “Rape Culture” what is needed is more female CEOs, MPs, Company Directors and more direct discrimination against white males who might be competition for such plum jobs.

    • Police issue statement on ‘vigilantes’ roaming Rochdale streets after residents’ pleas – Manchester Evening News Despite the MEN usual left wing spin on things this gives a flavour of the impact of the “Grooming Gangs” scandal. You’ll note that the Police link to Heywood Community Guard, because in reality they are doing a job protecting people. Heywood is a small former mill town outside the larger Rochdale and in Rochdale Borough. The Community Guard is not unique to Heywood of course and similar can be found in other parts of the Boroughs of Rochdale and Oldham. You may recall that it was Oldham council that requested a Gov. Inquiry there because their politics was so fractious (arson attacks on Councillors Cars and homes) they couldn’t handle it themselves.

  2. As an example of the phenomena of “intersectionality”is this: TfL advert banned for ‘reinforcing negative stereotypes about black men’ | The Independent Where a series of Tfl adverts merrily reinforce negative stereotypes of working class white young men, but trip over the orthodoxy of the day by including a young man of colour in their efforts to cover all bases. Interesting that it was just one complaint that caused the ban.
