“Appearing for sentencing at Nottingham Crown Court on 30 January 2026, Victoria Hampton – who now goes by Victoria Burke – was handed an 18-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
Conditions of her suspended sentence include the requirement to wear a monitoring tag and reside at her address from 7pm-7am daily for one year and participate in 15 days of rehabilitation appointments.
Detective Constable Akil Kapasi, who led the investigation, said:
“The victim had trusted his partner of the time with his funds, and he was very sadly taken advantage of for several years.
“Armed with undeniable evidence, the jury, however, were able to see through Hampton’s lies and expose her despicable actions.
“I hope that this sends a clear message to those responsible for the financial affairs of others that, if you take advantage of that for your own benefit, Nottinghamshire Police will put you before the courts.” “
DC Kapasti would have been justified to add at the end of his comments, “… where some dickhead of a judge will give you a suspended sentence, because vagina.”

Justice for Men & Boys 
Interesting isn’t it that this is treated as a case of fraud and theft. If the sexes had been reversed it would be Domestic Abuse, given the category “Financial Abuse”. So this is a case that won’t be added to stats about Domestic Abuse. Even though clearly this man’s wife was abusing his love and trust in an intimate relationship.
One wonders if the current Secretary of State for Justice’s plans to remove Juries will mean an “expert Judge” fully briefed in feminism might have considered the money simply just recompense for the practical and “emotional” work caring for her husband! Fortunately the Jury could see the injustice in her abusive wasting of money vital to his care.
What I suspect people will not understand is such a compensation settlement is not some sort of free cash that can be spent on anything. It has to be used to make adjustments to homes, special equipment and will be used by Social Services to pay for any care he may need in the future. So pissing it away has a direct effect on his current and future care. Despicable.

And those suspended gaol terms just keep coming. Beat up a woman and push a bloke onto live rails at a busy Railway Station? Never mind if your mums turn up to court. Two nice young ladies get off in Birmingham Drunk women shoved man onto train tracks at New Street Station and broke his girlfriend’s teeth – Birmingham Live Yet another step to making women’s prisons redundant. Fully how men are always responsible if they’re drunk, and women just aren’t.
