  1. Though pretty guilty of “wokeness” due to Carrie himself Boris’ gets it right “The sacking of a hero bus driver for knocking out a necklace thief says it all about the wet, woke, legalistic pettifoggers who run Starmer’s Britain.” While Mr. Hehir (who also had time in hospital due to an infection from the thief’s “tooth” epitomises the “glass cellar” man. Doing one of those jobs vital to our modern life for not good pay and unsocial shifts and considerable responsibility, the latter evidenced by his dismissal where he was held responsible for the initial robbery on his bus as well as leaving it to retrieve his passenger’s jewelry and keeping him away from the Bus and distressed passenger. Apparently he should have anticipated the assault on his bus and then stuck with the Bus. I note in his sacking he was “judged” by a female HR manager who no doubt rarely rides a bus let alone has ever driven a shift. Its pleasing the public have raised £20k and 100k signatures in his support. A reminder that outside the “elite” salariat people of both sexes have common sense still.
