Starmer sort of epitomises the vacuity of being unable to separate reality from poses. Starmer has no goals or project other than occupying the status of “Prime Minister” and at this point simply listening to his Focus group (aka the Parliamentary Labour Party) to stay in office… after all he’s admitted he doesn’t read “his” speeches before delivering them! After all he said sorting out the difference between male and female is “difficult and complex” so anything actually difficult and complex is inevitably well beyond him. He “presides” over the real power, his officials and supposed civil service and mouths whatever the factions in his party require that day.
