Telstra backs down!

Some excellent news from Bettina Arndt. We recently posted an article Bettina Arndt: “Telstra’s outrageous new policy.” Well, in just over a week Telstra have been forced to back down !

She says: “A miracle has happened. Thanks to the lobbying efforts of all my supporters, we have had a win! Telstra has retreated from their recently announced policy of cutting off services from men whose partners allege they have been violent.”

Our website Campaign for Merit in Business was created in the light of the considerable evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate financial decline. Mike Buchanan, Steve Moxon and Dr Catherine Hakim (the originator of Preference Theory) presented evidence to House of Commons and House of Lords inquiries in 2012, the video of their House of Commons evidence session is here (56:50).
