One in five middle-aged women in Britain has depression So the generation that has grown up in the era feminism is the most unhappy. Could it possibly be that women are a lot more emotionally fragile than men? Or that they have more regrets (no children, having dumped their life partner to “find themselves”, got equality in retirement age, discover being inactive and overweight is unhealthy not “body positive” after all, “having it all” isn’t possible, and that there is indeed a series of “biological clocks”) Curious isn’t it that there is little change for men. Could it mean that generally the men are in fact far more resilient, heresy I know.
