Our thanks to Tom for this. An interesting video (30:08) from Dr. Hannah Spier here. An interesting psychology lesson too.

I used to work, in STEM, for what was once Britain’s largest manufacturing Company. I’m going to call it ECI.
ECI doesn’t exist any longer. There are a multitude of reasons. But featuring to the fore would be the behaviours of higher-ranking women in the workplace. Particularly if they feel that their ‘stellar’ careers may be threatened by the unavoidable fact that you might be more imaginative, driven, and well, just generally competent.
So – they go to work on you, in the shadows, in the background, behind closed doors. This is starting to be recognised.

This effect may be about to bite our leader 2TK on the bottom. All the ladies he has now upset…Louise Haigh…Sue Gray….Lucy Powell….Angela Rayner.
These little ‘briefings’ against him. No-one can quite identify the origins…
If anyone is interested in what went on in the dying days of ‘ECI’, take a look at ‘Creating a Stink’ by Dan Murdoch (pseudonym, and not the ‘Trabant Trek’ guy). It’s 2,500 pages long, and, believe me, you can’t make this stuff up….
You end up working 24/7 trying to undo the damage, rather than actually working.
One of the (many) reasons why women in the workplace hastens a low productivity economy.
