Ruth Sunderland’s latest whingefest.

Ruth Sunderland has been a ‘journalist’ with the Mail for many years. Our thanks to Jeff for a link to her latest article A costly war is being waged on women, which he rightly describes as a “whingefest”.

Way back in 2014 Campaign for Merit in Business posted a piece Is Ruth Sunderland (Daily Mail journalist) willing to engage with evidence showing that placing more women on corporate boards leads to financial decline? I sent her emails with links to the evidence of a causal link between increasing gender diversity on boards and corporate DECLINE, and asked her to respond. Crickets.

Two years later we posted a piece (on both the C4MB and J4MB websites) Will Ruth Sunderland EVER engage with the evidence showing that appointing more women onto corporate boards leads to financial decline? Crickets.

  1. She says it herself “To most women in the world, earnest discussions over the small number of female FTSE 100 chief executives or posts on Mumsnet over middle-class dads not doing enough child-care must seem indulgent chatter.” Because of course most people in the world don’t live an unbelievably privileged life where you can earn a living typing out silly “opinion pieces” in an afternoon at Gail’s coffee shop. Perhaps in time for Halloween I see “Andrew Tate” is yet again cast as an omniscient and omnipresent prince of darkness.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many on the left regard business leaders and entrepreneurs as money hungry selfish “b………s” selling their souls for dollars. Yet then claim they deliberately ignore “talent” that supposedly would make them even richer! Could it possibly be that the money grabbing rich b…………s have worked it out already?
