  1. In the aftermath of WW2, Celine reckoned that destruction of national pride, by cultural dilution through unfettered immigration, might lead to an end to war. If there was no pride in one’s nation, what would be the point of fighting for its survival?

That’s probably big picture thinking, an end to international wars. Initially, there would inevitably be countless civil wars. With recent unrest flash points, Dublin, Epping Forest, there seems to be a recurring theme that those imported cultures have a very vague understanding about age of consent, and even consent itself. The historical issuing of licentiousness licences by Labour-led Councils will hopefully pursue this administration throughout its term of office, and, in particular, the odious ‘feminist’ Jess Phillips.

  2. Revolution always has an appeal to it. Until you look at revolutions across countries and times, and realise that they never turn out well.

The calm, law-abiding citizen who wants to just be left alone to enjoy his life with his family and friends is not, in general, the person who starts a revolution. More critically, he is not in place to run the organisation that takes over from the revolutionaries (the original revolutionaries rarely stay in control for more than a few weeks).

The winners of revolution are those with the top-down organisation to influence people and mobilise them in support of people and policies rarely in most people’s interests. Anyone not yet realising that those are the very people pushing us to feel like revolution is the answer need to be studying more.

We need change. But worrying too much about half a million illegal immigrants while almost half the population still hasn’t achieved equality under the law may be confusing priorities.
