  1. Julie Burchill nails the issue and I’m glad, in a way, that she isn’t able to answer the question. It simply does not make sense. But then, a lot more women in Britain convert to Islam each year than men, so women must see something in the concept of no-nonsense men who won’t hear any back-chat.
