Since the 1960s there has been sex education and a big variety of contraceptive medications so “accidents” are really unlikely. Which means Lily and Miquita knew full well what they were doing. Yet they don’t feel responsible at all. It also illustrates how the current law is being widely disregarded. For quite clearly the two medics who are required to check there is a serious medical or psychological reason for the abortion, simply keep letting these narcissistic women blithely have their abortions.
