A piece in the Times (£) 30 minutes ago. Emily Thornberry, one of many female blithering idiots over-promoted by Two-Tier Keir, is the chair of the foreign affairs committee. She has told Times Radio that Britain should not get involved in the growing Iran conflict because we are not “under threat ourselves”.
Does the woman have no knowledge of history? What if the American and Canadian (and other) governments had taken that position with respect to the conflicts in Europe in WW1 and WWII?

Well given the way the armed forces have been denuded, sent their stuff to Ukraine and can’t recruit due to diversity quotas I suspect the truth is there’s not much we can do that’s any use. It is after all the US’s exasperation with its Nato Allies that motivated the current US administration’s sharp words about having to listen to its allies carping when they always rely on the US when push comes to shove. No doubt we might send a frigate to the Gulf to fly the rainbow flag or the odd plane, piloted by an “amazing” modern day “angel” (a Captain Scarlet). But as usual it will be Israel and The US that will do the “heavy lifting”. I suppose Kier Starmer will get to go to yet another of his seemingly innumerable international conferences.

Oh on the plus side given the MoD has more civil servants than actual soldiers, sailors and airman, we could offer a crack team of admin.
