  1. The problems described by Nick in his book about Feminism’s Myths, Lies and Ungratefulness have been around for longer than we might imagine.

This from ‘Generation of Vipers’, a 1943 book by the author Philip Wylie, on the cult of ‘momism’ in America:

“American women are inculcated with a distorted version of a Cinderella fairy-tale that conditions them to expect material wealth, not because of virtuous activities, but merely because they are female. This has defeated husbands in America, making homes into centres of disillusionment. It long ago became associated with the notion that the mere act of bearing children entitled women to respite from all other physical and social responsibility.”

“Mom is organisation-minded. Female organisations, she has happily discovered, are intimidating to all men. They frighten politicians into snivelling servility. Mom has many such organisations, the real purpose of which is to compel an abject compliance of her environs to her personal desires.”

Sound familiar..? Especially the snivelling servility of politicians, and the end game of our abject compliance.

  2. Labour four-word WASPI reply after being accused of ‘undermining’ Ombudsman’s ruling | Personal Finance | Finance | Express.co.uk Interesting that for all their kind words to WASPI women the Labour Gov. isn’t going to pay up ….. yet. Completely lost in all this is that the left’s beloved ECHR declared the differential retirement age for men and women (60 and 65) an egregious sex discrimination that should end immediately (it did for men claiming such Gov. concessions as bus passes etc.) but the Governments of the day had to “phase” this in terms of the actual state pension (no protests for men’s human rights of course with the delay). So the women are complaining about a privilege ending, a privilege which is Judged against Human Rights!
