  1. The piece rightly observes the youth and vigor of migrants, however I would also say that in general here “up north” the domestic population still has some vigor. The brew of fatherlessness and labelling boys with “toxic” and ADHD and excluding them from school means there are lots of disaffected young men proving the truth of the old saying “the devil makes work for idle hands”. Meanwhile of course the Police “service” busies itself with policing “tweets”, intervening in disputes about who has the TV remote and other activities that don’t include being on patrol at times and places where something is likely to “kick off”, while always ready for the paperwork for reporting a “non crime hate incident” which can be recorded as such if only the officer perceives it to be offensive speech and claims to be offended!

Rather than agonise about the % of women they should simply apply high physical standards to deal with the majority of their “clients” which as we know will be young men. The result would be no doubt an increase in tall fit men. If nothing else being more visible than the current crop of small tubby (the stab vests accentuate this) extras from a American movie. Consequently more likely to be a deterrent. Particularly if actually sent out on patrol, away from their computers.
