  1. it is interesting. Curtice seems to believe that the “major” parties will get a grip on the immigration issues. However the Tories have a proven track record of failure (if not outright deception) while the incumbent government shows no signs of addressing any of the issues, from Grooming Gangs to “boats” to migrants in hotels to fraud in “legal” immigration. I suspect Reform can take its time in developing a wider policy brief. After all Labour was elected for being ” not the Tories” presenting little policy to the electorate! Hence they flounder like fish on a slippery deck.

    Reform’s next big test will be those local elections that will run. Success there will move them up a notch from “polls”. It always amused me that Farrage would be accused of having no electoral legitimacy or experience, even when he led Ukip and then Brexit party to be the largest party representing the UK in the European parliament!
