Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad) and Andrew Bridgen, former Tory MP – update on the RAF’s discrimination against white men for pilot training

Our thanks to Douglas for this (video, 14:35). The section on the RAF starts at 1:12, and provides an update on the consequences of the RAF’s discrimination against white men for pilot training, first revealed in 2023.

Followers of this blog may recall a senior officer saying the RAF didn’t need any more “useless white male pilots”, the Battle of Britain clearly belonging to a fictional past. Quelle surprise, the RAF is facing pilot shortages and is approaching previously failed applicants, the majority of whom will be white men, asking them to apply again.

  1. of course it’s not just pilots . The same has been true of recruitment of technical trades. One of the crucial factors in the battle of Britain was Trenchard’s technical schools set up from the early 1930s
